Bruce Springsteen posts enigmatic photos online, fueling speculation about new album – 100.7 FM – KSLX – Classic Rock

Something new seems to be brewing with Bruce Springsteen.

Over the past day or so, Springsteen has posted two mysterious uncaptioned photos on his social media sites, suggesting that The Boss is set to announce plans for a new album.

The first photo, posted on Sunday, is an image of a double yellow line on a tarmac road receding into the distance. The second photo, released on Tuesday, is of the steering wheel of a classic car.

Springsteen posted unexplained photos on his social media sites ahead of the release of his 2019 album, western starsso many fans believe these new photos serve a similar purpose.

Earlier this month, rolling stone editor Jann Wenner revealed in a Billboard interview that a new Bruce album is “coming out soon”, but no official news on the project has yet been announced.

Meanwhile, as previously reported, Bruce and his E Street Group will kick off a 2023 tour on February 1 in Tampa, Florida.

He and his wife E Street Band member Patti Scialfa will also perform this Thursday, September 29 at the inaugural Albie Awards, to be held at the New York Public Library.

The event is presented by the Clooney Foundation for Justice, an organization co-founded by george and Amal Clooneyand salutes the defenders of global justice.

“The Albie Awards … are a protective way to shine a light on the many brave people who, at great personal risk, have dedicated their lives to justice,” the Clooneys said in a statement.

Other celebrities who will be attending the event include michelle obama, Meryl Streep, Oscar Isaac, Doua Lipa, Black Aloe, John Olivier and julia robert.
