Phebi launches the “Detect” audio file analysis tool
April 24, 2020
In London, voice technology company Phebi launched a SaaS product called Phebi Detect, which the company says makes it easier to process audio files collected during surveys online or over the phone.
Phebi’s technology is used for market research and voice surveys, and its flagship product, Phebi Insight, launched earlier this year promising large-scale qualitative data. The new Phebi Detect tool works with captured .WAV audio files and can analyze thousands of hours of audio from phone interviews, call center conversations, virtual and live chat groups and more. interactions; then identify, transcribe and analyze relevant feedback.
Currently available in English, Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Phebi Detect can also identify emotion in respondents’ voices (as well as other things, such as gender), while helping researchers understand the intent feeling, especially for longer audio files. The solution uses natural language technology, determines who is speaking when and marks, with timestamps, when keywords and phrases are used.
CEO Mike Page (photo) comments: âWith Phebi Detect, researchers can easily identify specific times when respondents are feeling anxious, happy or sad, opening new levels of understanding around their perception of the treatment being studied. And the process is quick and without intervention. Partners send us a .WAV file, we process it – usually within 48 hours or less – and publish the results on an easy-to-use dashboard â.
