According to NBC News’ Zoe Schiffer, Apple closed one of its retail stores in Southlake, Texas on Wednesday after several of its employees contracted COVID-19. According to NBC News, an official told employees on Wednesday that 22 employees “said they were positive for COVID-19,” and four of the 151 store workers reported positive cases just after Black Friday. The store will be closed until Sunday.

Apple official policy requires retail employees to wear face masks and respond to a COVID-19 investigation before going to work. They should also be tested frequently for COVID-19: unvaccinated workers should be tested twice a week, and vaccinated workers should be tested once a week.
