The events of the Trinity
Christmas Eve Service at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St.: 6 pm, service with family message from Vicar Sarah, Holy Communion presided over by Pastor Moore, and music provided by the Praise Orchestra; 9 p.m. Traditional candlelight worship with Pastor Moore presiding over Holy Communion, Vicar Sarah attends. The bread cake and juice are pre-sealed as a sure way to keep the sacrament. Masks are no longer required, however, all adults and children not fully immunized are encouraged to wear a mask over their nose and mouth for your own protection and safety.

In the event of inclement weather resulting in cancellations, please check the announcements on WFMZ-TV (Channel 69), BRC TV Channel 13, or the Trinity Facebook page. Within two hours of the time of worship, a message will be recorded on the office phone number.
Sunday church school classes for grades 3 through 6 and Confirmation classes for grades 7 and 8 resume on January 2.
The Trinity Youth Group for Grades 7 to 12 takes place every Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sample food and participate in seasonal activities with Vicar Sarah Moore, Youth Group Leader for 2021-2022. RSVP to [email protected] in advance. Include any food allergies or food restrictions to prepare the right amount and type of food. Discover them on Instagram: TELCYOUTHGROUP. Please enter and exit through the door on the side of the car park marked “Youth Hall”. Volunteer opportunities are available to fill a weekly schedule for an adult chaperone.
The instruction session on the sacrament of holy baptism is on December 26 at 10:45 a.m. Parents / guardians of a child wishing to arrange a baptism date, please contact the church office to register, prior to the session.
The Trinity Thrift Store is open without reservation. Shopping and drop-off hours are Wednesday 9 am to 6 pm; and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The store will be closed on Christmas and New Years. The Food Pantry continues to be open Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (and the third Tuesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m.) with outdoor driving service and precautionary measures in place. Residents in need who reside in the Lehighton Area School District are eligible to receive additional prepackaged food. Participants must remain in their vehicle when picking up. Pantry volunteers will assist pedestrians / those not in vehicles.
The church office will be closed on December 27 and 31.
